Hi! I'm Jay Schaefer (Mr. Jay) and am excited to be part of Grace School this year. I have several years of Music Teaching experience and have spent the past six years as youth director at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Fargo. I enjoy being back teaching music, especially in a Christian setting!

In addition to the traditional offerings of classroom music, band, and choir I hope to provide instrument, guitar, and drum lessons. I also have a small recording studio in my home and enjoy producing CD’s with friends. I have already worked with 5th grade on composition projects with the new Mac computers and hope to use this technology more in the classroom.
